I have no idea I have not done piercings except my ears as a teen.....there have been several helpful members that have replied to these comments...hopefully one will see this & let you know

Also one of the lots of these that recently ended the member told me that there are videos on You Tube that are helpful as far as the instructions to use these

@jaimekennedy81 lol no honey, that's not how it works.. First of all, you can't take out the earring that is already in there, and second of all, you need to get it done with a needle, and preferably professionally. This reduces the possibility of infection. When you get a piercing done with a gun, it pushes your skin, cartilage, etc. aside so it's harder for your body to heal your piercing. A needle has a small hole in the middle that takes some skin, cartilage, etc. out, so your skin can heal around it. This is coming from someone who already has her nose pierced, a couple ear piercings, and planning to get more. I hope this helps anyone reading.

It's no problem! I'm really glad I could help out. I, unfortunately did not know this before I got my cartilage pierced, and my piercing didn't heal for the time I had it in (almost three months), due to the fact that my cartilage shattered! I wouldn't want that to happen to anyone else.
