The listing, 3 Vintage Ladies Hankies Butterfly Tatting has ended.

Now Ladies were talking my language. Three different ladies hankies. The first is hand crocheted butterfly and pink tatting around the edge on a mint green background. Yellow hankie has the popular ladder stitching with very dainty white embroidery. Shear blue has raised white flowers with a scolloped edge.

I taught myself to tat in high school needlework class, then I was asked to demonstrate to the class...I still have my shuttles, but haven't touched them since - Remember Home EC.? I think I still have my how to book!

Very pretty. I tat too (learned from my grandmother) but I only use my skill when a close friend is getting married.

Thank You I have only meet one person that still tats. It is very rare any more. I love crocheted and embroidery items. It's a lost art of love for the family & friends.

I do love tatting, crochet , knitting and can not find anyone here to share my love for vintage Romanian point lace .. or Irish lace .. it takes time but so fine art ..
