Both. Lol...the first few pictures just turned out darker than the purse really is. However, the only place that shows signs of ware are around where the strap meets the purse at the silver "D" rings (some ware) and the loose threading on the inside Dooney label. Both are shown in the pictures and mentioned in my description. I'm glad you asked about the color though as the first pictures do show it darker than it is. ;)
