Dragon Fruit are technically called a Pitaya Blanca due to the white flesh.

The fruit can weight between 150-600 grams some reaching a kilogram. Seeds will grow rather well in compost, or a potting soil mix. These are great for outdoor growing as well as an indoor potted plant. Best results in zones 9b - 11.

Seeds germinate after about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks (10 -14 days) after shallow planting. Remeber!!! These are after all a cactus so DO NOT over water it!! These are climbing plants but can be taught to stay put!

The flowers bloom overnight, and are usually wilted by morning. They rely of nocturnal animals such as moths or bats to polinate them.
