Great 80 year old dog figurine. This represents what I believe is an old pit bull or boxer after a squabble. He's wearing a very sad look, along with a sling on one paw and an eye patch...poor guy. He is made of very heavy ceramic and has light crazing all over due to his age. No chips or cracks, though, so he is very solid. He measures a large 5" tall x 5" long x 3" wide.This was obtained from the estate of an older collector several years ago. Every dog she had was marked as to how and when he was added to the collection. This guy must have been one of her first. Written in pencil on the bottom is, "From Dot, B. D. (birthday)1934." How cool is THAT?
