For those of you in colder climates you can start it indoors over winter, or put them up for spring planting. These are shade or dappled shade plants. In northern climates they can probably take a few hours of sun a day...but here in the South I keep mine in dappled shade. They will eventually multiply and you can dig them up to start new pots or somewhere else in the yard. I never use poison on any of my plants.
