Description
The listing, Genuine bronze Roman coin has ended.
This is an authentic Roman coin minted during the 1st to 3rd century A.D. These coins were used for every day transaction much like the coin used today. They were in circulation for long periods of time. These coins were made by hand by placing a bronze blank coin between to dies and then striking the dies with a hammer this crude Menting produced missshaped coins. One side shows the bust of the Emperor with the other showing mythological or military themes.
This is a beautiful piece from my collection to yours please be verified! I will ship for free on November first please don't ask for me to lower the days because I won't thank you so much :)
Questions & Comments
The campgate reverse is always nice. This one looks like Constantius or maybe Constantine II (You can see the CONSTANT above the head in the picture, but the legend appears to end in NOBC--Nobelis Caesar--meaning it was one of Constantine the Great's sons). If so, this coin was minted between 324-329 AD.
I wish I saw this when I had the credits. I collect ancient artifacts... especially Middle Eastern oil lamps. Would have liked a coin such as this. HEARTBROKEN! You certainly should yield alot more credits than this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
