These spiral earrings were hand-carved in India. They are made of natural horn, which makes them lightweight. Deep brown-black in color. The gauge is either 12 or 10, I'm thinking closer to 10g.

Because they're hand carved, they are unique! I love them, but I have gauged my ears to a larger size & hope to find them a new home.

I oiled and cleaned them regularly, so they're in great shape - no cracking or wear.

Natural Jewelry Care:

Natural materials MUST be washed before use. Use water & a mild, non-chemical soap (Dr. Bronner's liquid soap is good). They should be cleaned periodically, worn or not.

If you wish to sterilize the jewelry, DO NOT use alcohol, peroxide, dial soap or other harsh cleaning agents. A small amount of tea tree oil may be used. I like to add a drop of tea tree oil to jojoba oil when i clean/oil my natural jewelry. Sea salt soaks in warm water may help, but always dry the jewelry after washing.


Oil periodically and before use with jojoba, olive, peanut, mineral, or Vitamin E oil.

Horn materials may absorb moisture or be effected by temperature changes/humidity, so remove the jewelry before showers, swimming in pools, etc. When you remove your jewelry, wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth & dry it.
