African violets are easily propagated using the leaf cutting method. Simply place the leaves end into moist African violet soil, you may also use a small amount of rooting hormone at the tip of the cutting but this step is not necessary.
I prefer using BARELY damp vermiculite to root mine.
Some people use plain water.
Google "how to root African Violet leaves" and you will get many ideas!
Young violet plants will appear in 8 to 10 weeks and be ready for transplanting in three months.
