Centaurea americana Sow in the fall, winter or early springs. Cover seed with 1/8” soil.

Will germinate at 60-70 degrees. Basketflower blooms a magnificent lilac flower that have dar stamens, 3” across.

Grow in full sun, in average well drained soil. It is drought tolerant once established.

Blooms in late summer. Height is 36 – 60”. This is a reseeding annual. Butterflies and birds love this flower!
