I'm a small and I had to wear it for a wedding, I belted it with a tan belt and it actually looked good. You would never know a size 2 was in as extra large. So, it might work. You could also wash it in hot and see if it shrinks. Thank you, Lynn

f&, tag & description say size 2x but in the messages you say xl?

It was bought at a resale store that had some in large and 2x, my mother in law compared them all and no matter what size they were, they were the same size. There was only one large and 2x available, she needed two, I got the 2x but it was the same size as the large. She got it at Marshals. If it was a 2x I would have been swimming in it but the tag says 2x. Hope that cleared things up. Thank you, Lynn
