I have gone through the pages, they are all numbered in order and all the original ten stories are there, but not necessarily every single one of the pages that came with the book are. A page or two not directly in the stories might be missing? The book is approximately 8" X 11" and is completely fallen apart.

Der Struwwelpeter is a book written by a German man who wanted to buy a book for his child but when he couldn't find one he made one up instead. Mark Twain rendered it into English but that edition was not printed until 35 years after his death. This one has bright colorful cartoons accompanying the German text. It is a genuine antique, at least 100 years old and the pages are dried and brittle to the point of falling apart practically to the touch. However they are suitable for framing as they are or placing in plastic sheet covers with backing as each one in this book is separate from the other, the pages are not printed on the front and back of the same piece of paper. I stopped taking pictures after the story of the girl who caught on fire making frankfurters for her cats. I guess the moral of that story is children shouldn't cook? 10 humorous weird instructive comic tales.
