Hello everyone, I have here for you today another Piece of my great grandmothers Jewelry box. What a pretty brooch I have for you today. Made in Germany just before WW2, this triangle shaped brooch is beautiful.
Citrine, green and root beer rhinestones, all prong set in a strong frame work and has a roll over clasp. This brooch resembles very early Albert Weiss family Jewelry before
coming to America just before the war broke out. It is not marked...but this info is only passed on from research and
reading about The Weiss family history. 2 inches, of pure pretty. Thank you for looking ....ALL LISTIA RULES APPLY !

Hello Ms. Debbie......well, I think that comes more from hand me down from generations of a disease called ....OCB..... obsessive cleanliness behavior. My great grandmother was a clean fanatic and it followed all the women since. We
learned to take care of our things growing up....and like you said...we love it all !

My dtr sold my grandmothers 100yr old cameo necklace on Listia, without thinking the sentimental value. I am heartbroken. I tried to get it back but, the Listian already gave it to her sister... our Legacy lives on now, in the hands of strangers...

I have inherited a passion for collecting jewelry from 3 to 4 generations back. I had
6 tubs of boxed jewelry and display cases that I couldn't put in one room. I keep the most precious....like a Civil War era lava cameo of gold and triple Silver. Or the
Emerald Earrings, the two diamond rings, etc......those will go to my daughters. But my antiques and Antique and vintage costume Jewelry, I know my ladies will give them a good home. Because most of all my girls don't want anything to do with the fake stuff (as they say) and I cant take it with me.....right.

Oh I would be livid dreamweaver02 I can appreciate your being so upset! I have my things and then I have my OTHER things that I can sell or put on here. My kids know the precious "stays in the family" items well.
On this auction now I love this piece but frankly have I ever not loved any of your auctions?! LOL gonna be watching this one for sure!! Love it!
