Husker Red Penstemon Beardtongue.
You a bidding on a large heaping teaspoon of these teeny tiny seeds (min. 50 seeds). Husker Red Penstemon Beardtongue is a gorgeous perennial (zones 3-8) memorable for its dark green foliage that turns brilliant burgundy in the autumn and profuse spires of white flowers in the summer and spring reaching a height of two to three feet.
Prefers full sun and attracts both birds and butterflies. Minimal maintenance and grows easily from seed and often self-sowing. I planted one the first year I introduced the plant in my garden, had three babies by the end of the season (that were very easily transferable) and by the upcoming spring had eleven more!!! Not invasive, but fertile!
Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year (1996).
Thank you!!! Happy bidding and even happier gardening!!!
