I think these are old but I am not sure because we have not been able to verify where they came from, there are these and a couple of other styles that I have up, there are the egg shaped ones, and the round ones. One thing for sure is that these have some very nice craftsmanship, and style to them, it is kind of hard to see, but look at the bevel underneath very, very nice! These are not rusty; however some of the holes where we took the screws out are rusty, but no biggie. They measure almost an inch (1”) tall and an inch (1”) across the top.

One lady that I sold some too wrote me back an email, and said that she applied a dark walnut stain with a paintbrush, and blotted it off a few minutes later. And that it took about a day to dry, and that it changed the color from the pale verdigris to close to a hunter green, and that it also darkened the bronze blotches to black, and that they turned out really well, and looked great, but I personally like them just the way they are.

These are heavy, and I think they are bronze or brass. If you like neat old stuff at bargain prices, you will enjoy my other auctions, thanks for your bid!
