Honestly, not really. They breathe well, but I couldn't get 'em past my stupid thick calves. My daughter put them on and they were awesome. Hugged the leg well with a little space at the top just above her kneecap. She's roughly 5'6'' with athletic cheerleader legs, and they looked phenomenal.
