Mirabilias jalapa or commonly known as four oclock flowers love tropical and warm locations. In colder regions it will die at first frost but will survive the winter to bloom in spring. The seeds will germinate in 8-10 days. The seeds should be planted in a sunny location with light shade, 1/2 inch deep and spaced 12-18 inches apart. They grow up to 24 inches high. They don't require much attention.
