fyi, If there is no lye, then it can't be called "soap". ALL bar soaps and soap bases start the saponification process with lye (natural by-product of wood ash) and oil...but there is no lye in the finished product. So lye is not a bad thing. If it's not made with lye, then it's called a "cleansing bar" or a detergent or other cleaning product.
