Beautiful and easy to grow, blooms July to September, one of few perennials to bloom in their first year. Partial to full sun, drought and poor soil tolerant. Plants get bushier with each year. Flowers attract butterflies and bees, afterwards the seed heads provide for various birds.
So easy to grow, simply sow directly into ground either in autumn or spring.
