Just for clarity on this item. From the picture alone, it does not look like the item is compatible with ANYTHING that requires these headphones to be hooked up via WiFi or BlueTooth. The jack that is on the headphones is a mini stereo jack that will plug into ANY headphone jack that you may find on electronics like basically any smart phone, pad, or pc/laptop, as long as it is a mini stereo jack (which roughly 90% of plugs on portable items are). Hope this helps. I'm a audio mixer sometimes on video, TV and film projects. That's how I know. :)

And if the mini stereo jack on the headphones is too small for your equipments output (directly to the headphones, not the broadcast unit) there is a small adapter that you can buy almost anywhere that sells electronics or audio / video equipment (like a Guitar Center or Radio Shack or Walmart even possibly). The adapter cost probably less than $2. Again, it is for converting the mini stereo plug on the headphones to a 1/4 inch stereo jack for electronics with a 1/4 inch stereo output (which some older stereos and amps use).

It also looks like it has RCA plugs (come with the headphones) available to plug the transmitter into your typical audio/visual device that has RCA female receptors like a TV or DVD/VCR/Blu Ray player. RCA jacks are about as basic a connection you can get for video and audio connections for most consumer electronics. Optical and HDMI connections are more modern and able to handle digital signals, which RCA connectors do not do; they handle analogue signals (which have been around before many of us have been born). :)

I believe they have two options....One for an adapter and one for Batteries. I will double check tomorrow and let you know.
