Well then, speaking of something constructive, lol...

I edited your auction to remove the part about shipping to the continental US only. To use the "free shipping" option, it must be unconditionally (but you listed a condition, continental US only).

I wanted to let you know that as long as you're shipping by USPS, shipping to Alaska and Hawaii (and the US territories) are no more expensive than anywhere else in the country.

If you'd like to keep your condition of continental US only, you certainly can, but you'd have to change your auction to "buyer pays shipping". (Since it's possible that parts of the US would have to pay a shipping cost). If this is the case, message me and I'll change it (since you have a bid and can't change it yourself).

every coin has a story. Some of the ancient coins i have. I just think how many hands they have come into contact with over the last 2 or 3 thousand years. It's pretty cool.

np craig got more where this came from too. Several people saw the sneak peak i gave of the last set in this series. Took it down to give people ample time to build credits.
It is the only steel penny that survived in louisiana rofl. Our air is saturated with 99% humidity for 9 months out of the year. These coins turn to rust in a few weeks.

red-book is an awesome resource I love it.

Great auction skaskankerbr. I just tossed a bid out there to get it on my bidding list so I didn't forget about it later. Maybe it'll get the auction off and running. All the info in the description is great.
I also appreciate your intolerance of all the folks that are spamming here on Listia. They waste tons of my time with their …...nice.....cool......neat..... comments that it drives me nuts. I'm not bashful about banning them either. Hopefully listia will make some changes soon.

thanks. i do that bidding technique all the time too. I try to be complete as possible in my descriptions on all my auctions. This (usually) prevents confusion and the bombardment of questions about the auction.
i have no sympathy for people who post spam. My ban list is currently at like 65... over 30 of them have been banned from listia... I am thinking.. Is it really that hard to spend 20 seconds thinking of something constructive to say?
for instance..
"This is an awesome auction thanks for putting it up for everyone."
or
"can't wait to see your other auctions they are great"
or
NOTHING at all!

I hope to win this for my dad especially 1943 coins since he was born that year! He collects all the old coins so I wouldn't even know what there worth but I'd use up all my credits to collect a bunch of cool old coins to give him as a gift!

Good Morning skaskankerbr,
Just threw another bid into the ring....... and I currently have it at 777........ how lucky is that.....LMAO.
Also.....just noticed your location, and in my opinion, anyone from mud bug country is alright with me. My roots are southern. I have a sister that lives just outside of Baton Rouge & can't wait for my next visit to the area.
