This is a silky satiny vintage bag for hankies...It was given as a gift from an Army soldier to his a sister. The beautiful pouch came from U.S. Army Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. The charming poem written on the pouch reads: "SISTER: Nice to chat with, Good to know, Glad to have her Where I go, Kind in trouble, Bright in joy, Suits exactly can't say why; Sweet and wholesome, Always true, That's my sister, Yes, that's you!" There are no hankies inside, just the pretty pouch.
