The focal is a 20mm round Multi-colored Dichroic piece. The beautiful coloring on this focal and main feature is condusive to many choices for enhancement beads. I chose 8mm Basalt brown round beads, 1" golden horn hair pipe beads, round lined brown seed beads and a few golden brown 4mm round gemstone beads. They culminate with a gold-plated trigger clasp. In case you are wondering, Basalt is a common extrusive igneous (volcanic) rock formed from the rapid cooling of basaltic lava.
The necklace measures 16 3/4" in length including the clasp.

The dichroic glass focal is a wonderful and vibrant element which gives this necklace that 'pop' that everyone loves and is easily an adornment that would coordinate with anything you chose to wear it with.
