For those who enjoy wearing their cross in the form of a necklace, this necklace set will be their 'cup of tea'. The lovely shape and attached bail of this Pewter* based cross is adorned with small bumps surrounding two cobalt blue colored glass crystals on the top and sides, three on the bottom section. In the center is a larger round clear glass crystal. The cross sits between two slightly iridescent grey opaque glass roundels ~ four of them with two on each side containing a cobalt blue Swarovski 6mm bicone. The rest of the necklace, with the exception of a grouping of two roundels with two cobalt blue crystals between, is repetitious with 14mm rectangular 'bumpy' cobalt blue glass beads, separated from the next by two roundels. This pattern continues to the pewter heart toggle clasp. The matching earrings contain the same elements as the necklace and drop from wired, ball end sterling silver ear wires.

The necklace, including clasp, measures 19" in length. For an overall length, add the length of the cross and bail which is 2 1/8". The earrings drop 1" from the ear wires.

I have come across many lovely crosses and my natural instinct was to make more necklaces to adorn the multitude of unusual and basic cross styles. I haven't used much pewter, but with its increased popularity for a less brilliant silver color, it is a great and less expensive alternative. Cobalt blue is a wonderful, exciting color and will coordinate well with most anything you want to adorn.
