This lightweight silk scarf was a dyeable from Dharma Trading company. Mixing magenta and yellow (expired, surplus) printer cartridge ink gave a peachy, floral color effect.Colorfast in cold water wash. May bleed some color if left to drip, so don't hang it wet over anything that might stain, like a porcelain bathtub. Handwash only.
I want this to go to someone who will LOVE it. The color won't transfer to your skin, even if you perspire. I keep a tie-dye scarf that I made like this tucked away in my raincoat to add a little warmth and keep my neck dry around the collar.
Size is about 1 yard long, 8 inches wide.
