FREE: Elongated Silver? and Stone Ring. Sz.6-1/2

I'm almost positive this ring is silver, However, I can't find any of the normal markings for silver. The ring has a Western/ Native American look to me. I know in the past not all this type of artisan jewelry always had the standard silver markings. The ring does have what is best described as "D" inside of the ring. You can also see some of the tarnishing on the ring as well, lol. You can see it in the third photo. I also have no idea what the stone is.
Using some of those plastic ring sizers, I believe this ring to be a 6-1/2. The ring is used. The coloring is the closest to true in the second photo. The next day or two, I will get a photo of it in natural light as opposed to the flash of the camera.
