My wife said she had a dog like these as a kid but her om called it a Fox terrier are they the same kind of dog? I was just wondering cause Im think of getting her a terrier puppy for xmas! She loved that dog but her she had to move to her dads her mom kept the dog then gave it away later! sad!

That is sad I cant imagine giving a dog away they become a big part of the family as for the difference between a fox and jack russell I am really not sure I think that a fox terrier might be slightly bigger than a jack russell but either one would make a great christmas gift I have a terrier/Chihuahua mix and he is the best little dog ever he has me wrapped around his little paw : )

She said her mom said the dog became upset and was poopin on the floor cause there was no kids there any more so she gave to a home with kids.

That is good she found the little dog a good home sometimes no matter how much you love them they just have to be re homed the one I have now was give to me because he liked to run out of the house and chase cars the people loved him very much but was afrid he would get run over and they knew with me I live a long way from the road and that with me he would have a good safe forever home so sometimes even if it does hurt really bad to let them go you have to do what is best for the little dog :)

Thats crazy cause she knew a lady who had one and if he could get out thats what he did too. she'd get very upset til she got him back home. Maybe its in their blood lol?

yea I think most terriers like to go outside hunt,dig holes and chase anything that will run from them lol

This was when she was 25 plus years lol It was a much older lady she became friends with.

That is good if you can it is always best to find them a home with someone you know.I still take Toby by to see the lady that gave him to me it makes her happy to see him and even after 2 1/2 years he still remembers her but is always ready to come back home with me :)
