Description

The listing, (1) Sealed pre-sterilized piercing needle brand new and disposable has ended.

This listing is for ONE of the exact pieces shown in the picture. I was a piercer for more than a decade and a half and have about 1800 pieces of brand new jewelry left. I have a wide variety, so if you are looking for something specific let me know. If you don't see it in my listings, I can create another listing just for you. Every piece is 14 gauge surgical stainless steel and every piece is new and unused. Feel free to ask questions!

I agree totally! I get nervous about listing these, but had several of my repeat bidders ask for one, so I gave in. You would be amazed how many people out there will just poke holes in themselves and their friends with no idea what they are doing or how bad they can hurt themselves. An ear is pretty basic, just skin and fatty tissue there. And the lack of density makes it easy to get it straight through. Good Luck!

I know. People don't realize the amount of human anatomy you have to know to PROPERLY pierce. I have seen people pierce their own tongue! Luckily they didn't strike anything and bleed out, but they could have. That's just too much of a risk.

The item in the picture is labeled a 13G? But you have it listed as a 14G, just wondering which it is.

Actually, I state that my body jewelry inventory is primarily 14g. To pierce a 14g hole, one needs to have a 13g needle, slightly larger than the jewelry so as to house it while penetrating the tissue. Anyone with piercing experience would know this. This is exactly why I don't generally list my needles.

I don't usually list my needles, as I don't like the thought of inexperienced people jabbing holes through themselves or worse, their friends. I never, ever list my tools, as they have been used hundreds of times and run through my autoclave again and again. Sorry.

Was checking out your listings and just had to check this one out too! I find it interesting that someone wouldn't realize you need a bigger hole to start with- I hope they don't actual win your needles!
I had a friend pierce my nose- used an ear ring gun from a "chain store" actually- no issues with it what so ever- but other than this and my ears, I'd never trust an inexperienced piercer!

Well, the hole doesn't actually need to be bigger. The needle has to be slightly larger to house the needle and to make for a fast and precise piercing. As far as piercing the nose with a gun, the cartlidge should be cored out with a hollow needle to accept the jewelry and to ensure the hole stays open.

Basically the same thing- the hole has to be large enough to house the piercing- a hole the same size wouldn't be as easy to put through as one slightly larger.
My nose was done almost 3 years ago with no issues at all. I change it out all the time- have since the second day it was done :)

Sorry, but no. The hole can be slightly smaller and will stretch to accomodate the jewelry. That is the beauty of elastin in the tissue. Hence how you move up in gauge without cutting. A little lube and it goes right through.
