Hello, I see they are simulated but do they change color, too? Some simulated stones will do that.

Description of the stones from my supplier's website:
This simulated alexandrite is made with lab-created corundum. Color ranges from bluish-green to bluish-purple; some stones show more blue; some show more purple.

From a review on the website:
the color is pretty with a bit more like reddish purple in warm light and lavender purple in cool light

I hope that helps. I only have CFL bulbs now so I can't really check. they are a very nice medium purple
