Description
The listing, Ring has ended.
This ring is a rusted looking silver color that twists around. It was gifted to me and I never wore it so I thought someone should enjoy it. I will ship this in a normal envelope. If you want it shipped otherwise, you can message me and we can talk shipping but if your cool with an envelope, so am I. :) No idea what the size is. My guess is around a 7? But I could be wrong.
Questions & Comments
I have had three rings shipped to me in a plain white envelope, one arrived scratched and damaged and the other two envelopes were empty with a hole in the end where the mail processing machines squeezed the ring out. A bubble mailer is the only way to ship jewelry securely.
A white envelope is the only way I can ship because I don't want to pay for anything more than stamps. If you are interested in this particular auction and want it shipped in a bubble envelope, then I will ship it that way if you are willing to pay for that shipping fee. That would change the auction making it no longer free shipping.
If anyone wants it shipped another way, feel free to ask me directly the way you would like ot shipped, but be prepared to pay for shipping. I can wrap it in bubble wrap in a white envelope if that makes the winner happy. I am not paying for shipping outside if stamps so I am shipping in an envelope unless asked otherwise by the winner if the auction. Thank you.
Then you need to stop advertising free shipping and charge a fee. I've filed 7 disputes in the last two months on rings sent in white envelopes, and won those disputes. The rings were crushed and/or obliterated. The USPS sorter destroys rings when sent as flat. My last seller had to refund for 7 rings since all I received was a torn up empty envelope inside a USPS apology bag. Listia will not stand behind you if you ship rings in that manner. You should heavily wrap rings in bubble wrap or a tiny box and place them in a bubble mailer.
I understand your concern but this is in fact my auction, not yours. I can wrap them in bubble wrap in the white envelope but unless someone asks me specifically for that particular auction to put the ring into a bubble envelope or some other way of shipping I will ship it in what I can afford, which is a white envelope. I am not trying to argue here but this simply isn't your place to tell me what to do. I will wrap the jewelry. I realize now that it needs to be done. I apolgize for not knowing that because I've never shipped anything before. Cut me some slack. If I list another ring, which I probably will not, it will be listed as free and be sent in a white envelope wrapped in bubble wrap. If someone asks me to package it diffeently for that specific auction then I will do that.
You certainly have the right to lose your ring and your credits to damaged shipments but you are not heeding experienced members' warnings. Those warnings are to help you, not diss you. We can see that you are new and want to save you some grief.
I suggest you hide all comments. You are capable of doing that. I posted publicly hoping that you would reverse your decision so that you would get more bids.
Under each comment rub your mouse over the word 'Like.' "Hide Comment' should appear to the right. Be advised that hidden comments may cause suspicion from potential bidders. I try to avoid hiding comments for that reason. In this case, though, you may want to hide a couple.
