The listing, Italian hard leather journal cover has ended.

Absolutely gorgeous hard leather book protector and cover handcrafted in Italy. Perfect for the renaissance festival lover or society for creative anachronism. Or anyone that wants to spruce up a plain journal.

Front has sigil crest with crown and fleur pattern embossed into the leather and finished with dark brown dye. Lined with embossed vinyl on the inside.

Can fit journals 8 1/2 inches by 6 inches or slightly smaller, up to an inch thick with room for pens and pencils. I originally bought it to keep the notes for the fantasy books I was writing, but ended up not using it and it sat in storage for the next 18 years.

No, it is a cover. It goes over whatever book you put inside it.
