Description

The listing, Persian mulberry/Black mulberry tree seeds has ended.

I will send 6 seeds:
Persian Mulberry tree also know as Black Mulberry tree: tree grows vigorously and wildly, loses leaves in winter. Fruits from about mid may through august, heaviest in late june. fruits make a big mess so plant away from house or you will be tracking black staining juice on your carpet. Fruit are sweet. My grandkids and I eat them right off the trees. Can use them in ice cream, pies, muffins jams and jelly ect...
Easily grown, this tree makes an attractive, fast growing landscape tree. GROWING NOTES
Mulberries are generally hardy in Zones 4 or 5 to 8. They perform best in full sun and good soils, but will tolerate part shade and do surprisingly well on a wide range of adverse soil conditions, including thin, gravely soil, rocky slopes, dry, wet or alkaline soils and other difficult areas. This makes them well-adapted for erosion control. They are easy to transplant, salt tolerant and produce fruit reliably in frost pockets and exposed areas.
Mulberry will grow into a medium-sized tree 20-30 feet tall, and produce pale green blossoms from mid spring. Under ideal conditions it can grow very quickly. It produces tasty berries which can be collected and eaten, in addition to the leaves which are used for tea.
