I mail my grandaughters stuff a lot & sometimes it IS cheaper to NOT use the Priority Mail boxes if it's a light weight item....the heavier the item, the better the deal with the priority mail boxes....maybe a large padded envelope would work & cost less???

I cant get out and this is the only way I can ship anything so the mail man picks it up but I maybe able to get it into a smaller box. Fabric does weigh when you mailing I quit putting the shipping charges on becuse people complained and they take my items off. I could mail it probably for 5.25 and I combine shipping

If it helps...you can shove cloth into small flat rate boxes. Im not too sure how big your cloth is but sometimes my stuff makes the box bulge out but they still ship them. :)
