Enhances the formula it cobbled together using a little Devil May Cry, a little Streets of Rage, and a far more impressive amount of movie footage from all three of the Peter Jackson films, Return of the King expands in every single way to make this year's effort undeniable. Players get the chance to play as five characters (Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Sam and Frodo), plus three secret ones; the environments are interactive with useable weapons, ropes to swing down, catapults to fire, and more. Plus, gamers can finally get together with their buddies to play the game in co-op mode.

It's certainly not my favorite LOTR game but still pretty fun. I finished it which is more than I can say for a lot of games.

If you're asking about whether the contents of the game are good for your son to view, the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) rated this game "T for Teen" and cited violence as a factor.

If you're asking my personal opinion, I think it's a pretty fun game. That being said, I played through the story mode once and never played it again. Gamestop users rated it 9.3/10 Metacritic rating 8.6/10 and IGN 8.7/10

I was just messaging him about this. I would have lowered the GIN for you but there were already bids placed and I can't change the terms any more. Like I told him, you should be able to get this at your local game store for under ten bucks.
