Yes. .. the threads are worn. In real life it looks like the photos in that it doesn't stand out much. I would recommend taking it to a professional to have a sewn patch placed but it's not entirely necessary. ... it's just that most of the purses I sell would be suitable for gift- giving. I recommend that this be purchased for your own use, and that's my honest opinion. You'll probably get this purse for a nice lower bid. .. great opportunity to own a Coach fixer-upper! Good luck!

I'm thinking that a shoe maker or a place that fits embroidery could put a "darning" patch on it. Because the purse it's so dark, it doesn't really stand out. If it was repaired, it would prevent further wear and really wouldn't show. ..
