This is a complete 1991 Upper Deck White Sox Team Set in mint condition. Check the feedback on my other completed team set auctions to learn the quality of these sets. Featuring stars Frank Thomas (rookie card), Ozzie Guillen, Tim Raines, Bo Jackson, Carlton Fisk, Carlos Martinez, Robin Ventura and Sammy Sosa. 32 cards in all. This is his first Upper Deck card. He does have cards with other manufacturers from 1990, but this is indeed the premier edition for Upper Deck.

Yes it is still a rookie. He had no other upper deck cards of issue. Just because another company issued a card, does not take away his rookie status. Refer to 1985 Topps Mark McGwire. His 198

I may be wrong but thought I thought it was 160 at bats to make a rookie, like "rated rookie" I think they call it. But yeah you are right I remember this card when it was new it was the first upper deck. There was kinda a big fuss back then because he is actually giving the middle finger in this pic and trying to hide it. Cool card
