Description

The listing, 1869 US Two Cent Piece (VG-) Found While Metal Detecting has ended.

I have been a long-time coin collector, and as I have duplicates in my collection, I want to share the joy that collecting old US coins can bring and as such, I'm looking forward to not only earning credits, but making many friends and earning trust from others.

One of my hobbies is metal detecting, and I had found this coin around 7 years ago in a local park here in Worcester. This coin was found at a depth of around 5 inches in the ground

This coin is a decent "As Dug" 1869 Two Cent Piece with an approximate grade of Very Good if it were not for it being in the ground and found while I was metal detecting. If it were not for the defects on the coin, it's value would be between $19 and $22

Please feel free to ask me any questions that you may have. Over the next few weeks, I will also be listing other duplicates from my own collection.

I apologize for the slightly blurred photos, these were taken with my cellphone since my digital camera broke.

I am offering 100% FREE SHIPPING, and I will ship the coin safely and securely to the winner.

Thanks Everyone & Happy Bidding!

Since it is blurry, I cannot really see the coin. What are the defects? Watching.

The major defects are wear from being in the ground, and toning with slight green patina on the reverse of the coin. Thanks for your question.
