Please i have sent items via 1st class mail to canada, a necklace in a gift box @ $7.00 USD... Letters are a different story, i am sending a 1 oz coin, in an air tight capsule, bubble rapped and in a bubble mailer, i would not dream of sending via air in an envolope.. i would rather pay high and the item got there in the condition i sent it, as i am responable for packing via listia terms i am liable for its condtion. if it gets damaged i will lose all the costs and the credits: lose lose for me.. Ebay is one cost now and they do the rest, just send items to their HUB for one easy payment. thank you for your information

I do not know really, last thing i posted to canada las week was 7.00 USD and that was a necklace. I will only charge what our post office prices are.. it is a guess @ 10, i was shocked at 7, thought it would be no more than 4 bucks??? if you know a cheaper way i will go with that :)

Hi, envelope means, you can use Bubble mailer, and tape it for more safety. Anyway, its your choice, to ship your coin in the way safest for you.

It does cost more for us to ship in canada as the post office tells me try charge us exactly what it costs lol an the states postal service goes into debt every day as it's so cheap. But by weight this would only cost the price of a stamp. Just saying f&w

i belive and i am only going by what USPS oulined about Silver coins that it needs to be sent registered, unless it is sent to a coin dealer. i might have misread the information.. also i am sending coin in an air tight capsule and then it will be bubblerapped (will weigh up to 3 ounces) will be thicker than a letter. i will not say it will be the cost of a stamp and when i get to the postoffice they charge me 7 bucks, thank you for your input Cathy though, any other coin i might risk, but these are so very soft @.9999 pure and will damage with rough handling. They send them from the mint to me in hard plastic tubes, bubble rapped and some industrial superglue tape on them and in a box stuffed with bubble rap.. i am just following their example of sending quality items in the mail. It will be the same if i post to the US or anywhere. If it is damaged in anyway i will need to replace it, even if damaged by the mail service, so i do everything possable to prevent that, hence the coin capsule and bubbles :)

saying hi. Have this coin. I believe shipping costs are what they are. If someone cant afford them, don't bid. I've received cameras, shipping FREE....and the coins DO increase in value, so it's the collector's choice--take your chance or not.
