The listing, Sterling Silver (925) Faceted Alexandrite Bracelet has ended.

Up for auction is a gorgeous faceted alexandrite bracelet, sterling, stamped on backside (see photo please). It is adjustable from 7.5"-8.5" and fastens with a toggle type closure. I purchased this new, and it has never been worn. When I bought it, I was told the stones were genuine alexandrite, yet there is no color change noted under candlelight or flashlight, so I don't know if they are genuine or not. I was always under the assumption that all genuine alexandrites exhibit some color change characteristics.

Are the stones a blue color?

They're a bluish turquoise. Not a true blue, but def more blue than turquoise. Hope this helps.

My alexandrite changes in natural sunlight and fluorescent lighting - have you tried those? I will be bidding!

I HAVE taken it outside and I still see no change. I don't have any fluorescent lights here, in my home. Maybe over the weekend I can bring it with me to Lowe's and see if anything happens under their fluorescent bulbs they use for display. Thanks so much for the info.....most helpful :) Donna
