I'm auctioning my amazing RED 8G ZUNE **TOUCH**, which I purchased for $300. (Or $299.59 to be exact!) This Zune was kept in a clear protective case at all times and only recently taken out to clean and I threw away the clear protective case because I planned on setting it aside for something like this.

You can download the software from the internet, but you can put any music you download into it. It's just a drag and drop system, nothing complicated. And about the subscription, it's not required, but I can't say because I'm not sure. I would personally download not specifically from the Zune Pass but you can.

That's still in great shape! I've been wanting a Zune for years but have never had the money to buy one and when I asked my parents for one they bought me a cheap Samsung mp3 player that barely held 700 songs...I was mad to say the least so I'm fighting hard for this. I've been watching this like a hawk. Haha

I paid $300 because it's a TOUCH and and not refurbished. They also made a limited amount of Zunes 60, 60 and 120 GBs so the Zunes you're seeing at that price aren't TOUCH and are most likely refurbished or just plain used. Third, the red gloss was a new color, limited edition color. Believe me, I'd buy the Zune at that price 50 million times over, it beats the hell out of an ipod or anything else any day of the week.

actually, thats the amount you can download from the Zune Pass service directly to the Zune program, NOT what you can put on the zune. this was taken from the actual description of my zune. i personally don't know anything else about the zune pass.
