No, I have not worn it. However, it appears to be coated and nothing rubs off. Very pretty and bright! Thanks for asking.

Another idea is to paint a piece of costume jewelry with clear fiingernail polish to protect it. If anyone has had a bad experience with this, please let me know. Thanks.
