At Auction is a 1922 Italy 1 Lira coin in really nice shape, please look at the pictures. The front of the coin is a Female seated left and the reverse has a Crowned Savoy shield and value within the wreath. It has a reeded edge. At the time of this coin the King of Italy was Victor Emmanuel III. He reigned from 1900 to May of 1946.

I bought a box of coins from a client years ago that she had gotten from a relative that sailed the oceans aboard merchant ships from the late 1800's to WWII. This is one of the coins he collected. Great example of a 92 year old Italian coin! Highly collectible and a great gift.
