Description

The listing, 5 Silver Certificates $1.00 Bills 1935 E, F, G & 1957 & 1957A has ended.

These have all been folded and in a jewelry box for at least 20 years. I have had them in a box, trying to flatten them out enough to take a picture.

I have no idea if these are worth anything in this condition.

1935 E, F, G
1957 & 1957A

what is it about these that make them more special than other one dollar bills?

The words Silver Certificate. They aren't one dollar bills. Beyond that, I have no idea!

you can check the value out on the coin sites they are most likely a couple hundred a piece as long as they are in good shape. will look and let you know

there is so much to coin and paper collecting. besides condition, there are different marks that can increase the value, and other stuff. I just don't have the energy or focus to do the research. So I thought I would offer them up and let people who collect coins or paper and have the knowledge have them.

The way I figure it.......... if there is one worth a couple hundred bucks....... it would have cost me that much in time and energy in research and gas trying to find a buyer.

By listing them... I can pass them along to someone else who wants them.

I would advise you not to fold or modify the bill as doing so could decrease its value further. The highest value note I saw was the one with a Star on it. It denotes that it is a replacement note. The original note was made with a flaw and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing destroyed it, then reproduced the same note (but with a Star symbol in place of the letter symbol next to the serial number) to replace it. As a general rule, star notes command a higher premium. Good luck with your auction!
