@ 10" overall w/ the blade making up almost 4&1/2" of that 10" it is a hefty knife. The thumb stud sits on top of the blade so that either hand can open the knife. It is a liner lock with anodized aluminum handle scales that fade to black & blue. Knife comes with a molded cordura nylon sheath. One of the benefits of this knife is you don't even have to open it to use it for self defence. You simply wrap your hand around it and use it like a Japanese kubaton. This knife is a manual folder but has adjustable tension setting which allows you to loosen the tension so it open just as fast a an assisted opener. w/o the possibility of accidental opening in your pocket.
