What you are looking at is a bag of Vintage Hair Curlers. These are actually cool to me ! In blue and pink colors. These are the type where you roll your hair up with the solid curler, then you take the shell type and press it down to keep the roller in place. My wife use to use this when she was little and her Grandma would set her hair in these and she would go to bed like that. She said they were easy to handle. my wife is now 35 years old and can not believe how time flies so quickly!

Not only did we go to bed in these, when I was a teen (ok, way back in the late 60s), it was cool to go to the mall (or shopping center as we called them back then) with your hair in these curlers on Saturday afternoon because then everybody knew you had a date on Saturday night! We would modestly cover them with little scarves...we didn't want to be crude. LOL
