Description

The listing, ORIGINAL Hand Drawn & Colored ATC, Artists Trading Card-Not A Copy-OOAK ORIGINAL #2 has ended.

This is an ORIGINAL ATC, or Artist Trading Card, also known as an ACEO, which stands for Artists Cards Editions & Originals. The term ACEO is usually used when cards are sold, whereas ATC would apply when they are being traded. Not sure where Listia falls, so I am just giving you both names.:-) They always have to be the same size as a baseball card, which is 2-1/2" x 3-1/2". So you can use all the pages and other supplies to display your cards. I Mod Podge mine to the fridge. Not sure what I'll do if the fridge quits......Probably something crazy, like hanging the doors and their Art on the wall somewhere. Oh how horrified my kids would be.

This card is number two in a series where I was experimenting with a different color pallet than I usually use. So far I have two cards done. I will always draw, but nothing I do well EVER look the same. I have a couple of others in this series, but I'm not sure I'm happy with them. They may become part of another piece of art.

These are the ORIGINALS, they are not copies, and I did not scan them to make copies. The photos in this listing are not good enough to make copies from. SOOO... You will have an original piece of my art, signed and dated, that will NEVER be reproduced. If I ever get famous, you might get rich.......LOL

These are drawn on regular artist paper, in my notebook. After drawing the basic design with a permanent black pen, I sometimes color them, as I did this one. After I am satisfied with the colors I take the page out of my notebook out decide which part gets to be the ATC. All of the the scraps get saved in my collage box, for another day.

After being trimmed to the correct size, it is mounted to a piece of chipboard fir stability I then sign, date and number the back.

I hope you enjoy this little piece of my soul, which at really is. I find it relaxing, meditative, and refreshing. Each ATC takes between one and two hours, which is sometimes like therapy for me.
