Plug it in to your mp3 player and the cassette ad. in to your cassette player and it will play like the cassette works but it will be your mp3 that you will use to change what you are listing to.

Sorry notifications didnt to phone. Yes this works. You plug it in to device and put the cassette part in the cassette player. It is more commonly used in cars/trucks.
