This is a good condition vintage hard back novel by agatha Christy Dated 1939 see 2nd pic It does have some small fraying on corners but this is expected for it's age bother wise in great condition. I purchased this at a library closing in a small town in oklahoma It does have writing in the Inside top of pg see 3 tx pic Thx for looking. Plz ask any questions u may have. I love all kinds of books, I really do not have a preference. So I was wondering if you could tell me a little about what this novel is about.

This book is about a private investigator who has returned to England. On his train, he meets a woman who tells him about a string of murders going on in her town. He is intrigued, so he follows up the murders, especially after the women who informed him of the murders is killed, becoming the sixth victim. As he investigates the six murders that have already occurred, two more occur. He begins to piece together the clues and as he gets closer to figuring out the murder's true identity, his girlfriend, Bridget Conway, goes missing. Will he find her and the murderer in time? Or has she run away to escape the town where a vicious murderer is hiding in plain sight? This book is filled with clues and red herrings alike, making it a fast read that you just can't put down. I highly suggest it!
