What is a fractal you may ask? Let me explain a mathematician Benoît Mandelbrot coined the term fractal, from the word Meaning fracture. Fractals have been in nature sense the beginning of time and beyond scientist yet to know. They are in everything. Trees, snowflakes, crystals… Look at a piece cauliflower and notice how it grows in repeated pattern or an onion. , even your lungs are fractals. You DNA are a fractal.
Fractals are geometrical shapes which create a pattern repetitively. It wasn’t until Mandelbrot and computer came to together could human generate a fractal from Mandelbrot’s formula, Later Newton created on formula also. I use Ultra Fractal to generate them. I manipulate the formula adding color and functions also adding layers. I will tell you one thing fractals seem to have a mind of their own. The way I work for days into months trying to calculate the formula to look like I want it too. Computes can because they calculate in numbers to infinity and fast. You can zoom into the image for days seeing the same repeating patens as they appear.
Fractals, I worked with since 2005 and I have opened a whole new world for me. I find them healing mentally and physical as there are being study for cures and pain management. When I create I often write poetry as well.
