Inside the cone it states made in UK. Distributed in the US by Aurora. Quality Kriss, color ruby, dye no.1449. weighs 15-16 oz and is about 4 1/2 and about 6 1/5 inches tall.

I/m not sure if it feels like cotten my guess goes toward a coton/poly blend its very stong and durable. The package comes to 1.01 lbs and ships from 26301 about 9.97 priority mail shipping. Thanks.

You can ship priority envelope for 5.75 or padded for 6.10

I just checked it on USPS. I think the spool will fit in a flat rate envelope. for 5.75 or padded 6.10. I use them all the time and cram all I can get into them. Flat rate is cheaper that priority
